Our Proposal
For those who know don't know the back story to that, the year before for Jessica's birthday, Neil left a box on the table that looked like a ring box, which turned out to be earrings, so he thought he would be funny with a repeat. Neil wasn't done, he still had another present for Jessica. He pulled out another box that contained a cubic zirconia engagement ring. The back story to the fake ring is that when talking about engagement rings, Neil would always tease about buying her a Groupon ring for $19.95. As Jessica was looking at the fake ring, thinking this was it, Neil came up from behind her and presented her with the beautiful "Real" engagement ring that he had gotten her, and with that, he asked her to marry him. Neil's a funny guy!

When it Happened: November 15, 2013.
How it Happened: Neil and Jessica were about to leave for their Hawaii trip in 2 days, so after work on Friday, he took her out to dinner. When they got home, there was a rose on the table (for those who know Neil, this was out of the ordinary). The rose was accompanied by a box which contained a necklace chain, which Jessica needed replaced for her necklace. Neil then proceeded to say that he had something else for her as well. He pulled out another box, which contained earrings.
